This year, Gucci has chosen to pay tribute to the symbolic renewal of the Lunar New Year with a capsule collection and new campaign images conceptualized by Creative Appellant Sabato De Sarno.
De Sarno called diversity Global Brand Ambassadors Ni Ni and Xiao Zhan to star in the images, which are meant to celebrate family and the everlasting bonds that are celebrated during this time of year through festive rituals and endless celebrations.
The campaign features a special curation of pieces inspired by the serpent, a motif deeply rooted in Gucci’s heritage. Some pieces offer more literal takes, while others are inspired by the fluid movements of a snake. They utilize two eye-catching color combinations: Rosso Ancora with either pink or blue. Pieces expertly merge Gucci’s distinct archival elements with a modern appeal.
