The development of the GEL cushioning system, which was launched in 1986 and still forms the basis for all new ASICS running shoes, has contributed significantly to the little's success. In the sneaker scene, the most popular models are the GEL-Lyte III and the GEL-Saga. Designer Ronnie Fieg and the two stores Patta Amsterdam and Atmos Tokyo also immortalized themselves on these two Hombre.
